David Geary - Founder of Geary’s Real Estate

I’m your trusted guide and advocate, navigating the real estate process with transparency and integrity. With over 15 years of experience and Chicago deeply ingrained in my DNA, I possess a comprehensive understanding of Chicago's diverse neighborhoods and the surrounding suburbs.

My journey in real estate began as a financial analyst, where I honed my skills under the guidance of my esteemed mentor, Dave Mitidiero. Working at Dave’s boutique real estate syndication firm ignited my passion for the intricate world of commercial real estate.

I gained invaluable hands-on experience across various domains of the industry. From underwriting multi-million-dollar industrial real estate acquisitions to managing troubled assets, overseeing our receivership lien program with the City of Chicago, I immersed myself in every facet of the business. Additionally, I delved into leasing and brokerage, handling diverse properties ranging from apartments and single-family homes to multifamily buildings, industrial buildings, and commercial land for development.

I am deeply grateful for the exceptional team I had the privilege to work alongside. Every day, I eagerly immersed myself in the dynamic environment, seizing every opportunity to expand my industry knowledge and expertise.

This journey has shaped me into a seasoned professional, providing me with a deep understanding of the complexities within the real estate industry. It has empowered me to not only utilize my expertise but also to apply the knowledge gained towards making my own investments and founding my own real estate firm – Geary’s Real Estate, a property management firm. Geary’s RE was founded with the mission to aid others in operating their investment properties and to discover new opportunities for investment.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from DePaul University and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
